Power And Authority – Adventurous Discipleship (Audio)
Sunday Oct 08, 2023
Sunday Oct 08, 2023
Jesus sent his 12 disciples out with His authority to preach the good news, heal the sick and drive out demons. He then sent out another 72 of his disciples with that same authority and instructions. What does it look like to be a modern-day disciple with that same authority?
Bible Readings: Luke 10:1-20 (NLT)

Growing in Jesus (Video)

Sunday Sep 24, 2023
t is an old adage that life is a journey. Now being on a journey implies that you have some directions on which way to go and some idea of what lies at the end destination. For some the answer to those points are ‘I’ll make my own way thanks’ and ‘My life right now is all I have, and the journey’s end is a plot of ground and a headstone’.
For followers of Jesus, he provides a different response. He tells us that he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that waiting at the end of this earthly life’s journey is a place already prepared for each of us with him. By God’s grace he has called us into his kingdom and so growing in Jesus needs to be part of everything that we do. Ultimately it means grasping onto this promise, this hope, and this eternal truth that Jesus is the only way to the Father God.
Like travelling on a journey, growing can have its setbacks. Jesus doesn’t promise that life is all smooth sailing but as we draw closer to him through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can be assured that he is always with us each step of the way to that day of glory.
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Fin Klein unpacks these life-changing promises, this new way of living and growing in Jesus and all that it means.

Life as Community (Audio)

Sunday Sep 17, 2023
When we consider all the material and digital distractions of this 21st century world that we live in, many are asking the question ‘have we lost our sense of community?’ It seems like there is even a lack of willingness to make the effort to connect with others; instead, we replace that idea with something else rather than looking for new ways to be engaged with each other in any meaningful sense. Many find that this purposeful journey into a solitary lifestyle is not healthy for body or soul.
The Christian approach to community is in stark contrast to this modern worldview. Our Triune God is the perfect completion of being community. Even at the dawn of creation, Father, Son, and Spirit worked together to bring all things into being. As we draw near to God the immediate response should be that we also draw closer to each other. Why is this important? Because doing life as community is in the very essence and nature of God. As you grow in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit the love of Jesus is made manifest in you and into the lives of those around you.
May we all hold each other up and encourage one another in this.
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Fin Klein shares more on these themes of Christian community.

Sunday Sep 10, 2023
A message by Pastor Paul Fielke.
All people are loved by God. God’s treasure is those whose faith is in his son Jesus Christ, and being God’s treasure means that we are greatly loved. A love so great that God was willing to sacrifice his only son to save us and give us life!

Amazing Father (Father’s Day) - Video
Sunday Sep 03, 2023
Sunday Sep 03, 2023
Once again Father’s Day is with us.
How fascinating it would be to exchange our different memories about our dads. There would be plenty of interesting stories to tell and feelings to share.
Think about your Dad? What is, or was, he like? How would you describe him? How does he, or did he treat you? Would you describe him as warm, friendly, and loving or perhaps more distant and uncaring? Always available and approachable or perhaps difficult to deal with?
On Sunday we will be delving into the amazing heart of God, our heavenly Father but at one and the same time the Father of Jesus. Have you ever thought about the possibility that He may have had divided loyalties? Consider this for a moment. Could you as a parent, a dad or mum, who loves your child, if he or she were in a desperate situation, ever knowingly and willingly abandon them, turn you back on them? I’m sure you would answer with a resounding ‘No!”
And yet, as Jesus suffered that brutal and terrible suffering on the cross it seems that God, the loving Father of Jesus, did just that. “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” was Jesus’ lonely cry.
What exactly was going on there on Calvary on Good Friday?
Come along on Sunday as we explore this question and reveal the wonderful but also heart-rending decision God chose to make on our behalf.
