As the Messiah-King, Jesus ushers in the kingdom of God and calls us to share in this new life. Throughout his ministry, Jesus shows us that all people matter to God. He ate and drank with those labelled as “sinners”. He ministered to Gentiles. He noticed the little people, and made children welcome.
